【教材分析】
第四单元的教学内容都是围绕“farm”这个主题展开的，主要包括农场上的蔬菜及动物单词的复数表达形式，以及语言结构：What
are these/those? They’re …. Are they…? No, they aren’t.
They’re…的学习和应用。本课时主要是学生学会用句型What are
those? They’re …及Are they…? No, they
aren’t. They’re…谈论农场的动物。
【学生分析】
学生在三年级已经接触一些动物的词汇，他们喜欢动物，并对动物很感兴趣，这些都为本课内容的学习提供了基础和帮助。因此将根据本课时教学目标和教学对象的特点，合理运用多媒体辅助教学，通过歌曲欣赏、创设情境、游戏竞猜等形式，优化课堂结构，培养学生综合语言运用能力，提高课堂效率。
【教学目标】
1、听、说、认读主要语言结构：What
are these/those？ Are they...?
并能根据实际情况进行简略回答。
2、能够准确朗读对话。
【教学重点】
句型What are these/those？
Are they…?及其简略回答。
【教学难点】
horses 的发音以及句型的运用。

【教学流程】
Step1 Warming up/Revision
1.
Enjoy an English song“Old Macdonald had a farm.”
2.
Review some animals words.
【设计意图】:歌曲是学生喜闻乐见的课堂活动形式之一，利用多媒体播放歌曲，既能愉悦学生身心，调动学生的多种感官，激发学习兴趣，又能复习旧知，为进入新课内容做好过渡和衔接。
Step2 Presentation
1. What are those?
a. The T show the picture of a farmer and say, “Look , he is
a farmer , he has a farm . Let’s go to his farm and have a look ,
OK?” And show the word of farm.
b. T: Wow, there are a lot of animals on the farm. Look! What
are those? They’re horses.
学生认读单词horses，hens.
【设计意图】:创设情境呈现农场的图片，让学生在情境中学习句型和单词horses。
2. Are they…? No, they aren’t.
利用农场图片在游戏中学习Are they…? No, they
aren’t.
【设计意图】:学生在游戏中感知句型并运用，激发学生学习兴趣。
3. T: Mike and Chen Jie goes to a farm. How many horses are
there on the farm? Watch the video. Answer the
questions.学生完成导学案中的合作探究中的任务。
【设计意图】：学生整体感知对话内容，观看之前，提出任务，让学生带着问题去听，能使学生集中注意力，让学生具有明确的学习任务，同时也训练学生的听力。
Step 3Practice
1. Listen and follow the video.
【设计意图】：学生听跟读录音模仿正确的语音和语调，让学生通过仿说、跟读对话运用所学的语言知识。
2. Role-play
【设计意图】：英语课程标准一级目标要求，学生能够做简单的角色表演。学生两人小组合作，分角色进行表演，培养学生的合作意识。

【设计意图】：学生在游戏中操练巩固句型，学生参与积极性高，提高课堂效率。
Step5 Homework
