As can be clearly seen in the first pie chart, most people leave
the UK because of quality of life, with 3·7%, which is followed by those who leave
due to financial reasons (23%). Same percentages of people choose
not to stay in the UK owing to weather and employment, both at 15%.
In contrast, only 10% of people join family or friends outside the
UK.
It is manifest from the second chart that people stay in the UK for different reasons. 43% of people remain in the UK because of their family or friends. Social life is another significant reason why people prefer to stay, with 21%. Interestingly, the same proportion of people takes employment into account as those who leave the UK, at 15%. The rest factors are language (11%) and financial reasons (10%).
In conclusion, the charts suggest that the reasons why people leave or stay in the UK vary a lot.
