条件句分为真实条件句和非真实条件句
if引导的条件句，如果假设的情况可能发生，就是真实条件句；
反之，如果说的不是事实或者是不可能发生的事情，则是非真实条件句，要用虚拟语气。

1.真实条件句

歌词：If you miss the train I'm on You will know that I am gone
次句说的是可能发生的事情，所以不用虚拟语气。
此句包含一重要考点“主将从现”：在时间状语从句和条件状语从句中，如果主句是一般将来时，从句用一般现在时替代一般将来时。

You will know that I am gone 你会明白我已离开

2. 虚拟条件句

Tears in heaven ---Eric Clapton
这首歌比较悲情。歌词比较简单，可以试着翻译下。
创作背景:
在一次演出归来的途中，Clapton的演出伙伴Colin Smythe 和Nigel Browne 在直升机失事的事故中丧生，Clapton坐在后面的飞机上亲眼目睹了这一惨痛的场面。几个月后，他的幼子Conor从曼哈顿53层楼的窗口意外坠下身亡。而这首歌就是写给他的亡儿的。

歌词：Would you know my name if I saw you in heaven?
这是if引导的虚拟条件句，是对将来情况的虚拟。
if的虚拟条件句要分三种情况：与现在事实相反，与过去事实相反，与将来事实相反。其结构如下：
if 从句 主句
与现在事实相反 did/were would/should/could...+ 动词原形
与过去事实相反 had done would have done
与将来事实相反 did/were would/should/could...+ 动词原形
were to do
should do
口诀：主情从时 （主句都是情态动词加上...，从句大都是倒退一个时态）

eg: If I had a lot of money now, I would buy a car. 如果现在我有很多钱，我会买小车。
（实际上，我没有很多钱。）
If you had previewed the text, you wouldn’t have failed to answer the question.
如果你有预习课文的话，你就不至于不会回答这个问题。
If it were Sunday tomorrow, I should go to see the film.
如果明天是星期天的话，我就会去看电影。（实际上，明天不是星期天。）
If I were to do it, I would do it in a different way.
要是我来做这件事，我会用不同的方式来做。
If she should come, I would ask her for help. 如果她会来，我就会请求她的帮助。
