头脑风暴(brainstorm)教学法延伸典例
（适用范围-高一---高三二轮复习）
“brainstorm”,即中文的“头脑风暴”，是教师根据所交流的话题，根据学生的最近发展区，采用快速的联想的方法，尽量多的说出相关的词语。比如，话题“地震”，words and expressions relevant to the topic are---quake, earthquake, shake, hit, strike, center, aftershocks, fall, collapse, destroy, damage, loss, claim, rescue, fire, power fa
ilure…事实证明，这种方法无论是对词汇的复习和重现以及对培养和提高阅读的能力都有很大的好处，而这种办法是以话题的相关性展开的。但是对于基础比较薄弱的学生来说，我们也可以采用类似的办法，把单词的词形，词义，使用，阅读紧密地联系起来，使用一些较有意思的办法来化解学习过程中的难点。下面我们以“生死”为中心，可以展开如下的联想。（有些材料来自网络，在此致谢！）。alive, live, living, lively, lovely, life, die, dead, death, deadly, kill, shoot, murder, murderer, hang, poison, drown, sacrifice , survive, vivid. 配以适当的例句以增强记忆效果。
例句记忆：
1. life n. 生命，生活 Everyone has the right to live a better life. 人人有权过上更好的生活。
2. live vi. 生活 adj. 活的（指动物）；现场直播的 Some live programs about live animals are popular with people who live under high pressure. 一些关于动物的直播节目受到生活压力挺大的人的欢迎。 live a ... life过着......的生活 live on sth 以某事物为生 格言： Live and learn.活到老，学到老。
3. lively adj. 生动的，活泼的 We like lively classes. 我们喜欢生动活泼的课堂。
4. living adj. 活的 He is one of the few living world-famous writers. 他是少数在世的世界著名作家之一。
5. alive adj. 活的（作表语或后置定语）The people alive should fight on for a better society. 活着的人应该为争取更美好的社会而努力。
6. love n. & vt. 爱 Life is terrible without love. 没有爱的生活是可怕的。
7. lovely adj. 可爱的 Every child has his or her lovely aspect. 每个孩子都有其可爱的一面。
8. die vi. 死亡 Sorry to say that his father died from an accident last month. 我很遗憾地告诉大家他的父亲上月因车祸而谢世了。
9. dead adj. 死亡的 There still live some people who are dead 一些人死了，但他们还活着。
10. death n. 死亡 No one can escape from death. However, the death may be different. 人总有一死，但死各有不同。
11. deadly adj. 致命的 SARS may be a deadly disease. 非典可能是种致命的疾病。
12. kill vt. 杀死 The accident in Korea killed more than one hundred people. 朝鲜的那次意外使一百多人丧生。
13. murder m, 音 '谋' vt. 谋杀 n. 谋杀案 It is well-known that Lincoln was murdered by his enemies.众所周知，林肯是被他的敌人谋杀的致死的。
14. murderer n. 杀人犯 The police are hunting for the murderer. 警察正在搜寻凶手。
15. sacrifice sa, 杀，sacrifice, n. & v. 牺牲 If necessary, we may sacrifice our lives for our country. 必要时，我们可以为国捐躯。
