B: Indeed, I think urban sport is all about getting out there, doing what you want, and doing something exciting. I like it too, because I can joint it for free, and of course, it is a great exercise and convenient compared to driving out into the countryside.
B:I know you are an amateur climber, but I wonder how that works in metropolitan Beijing? How do you manage your time?
B:that I agree. I think it is about young people adapting themselves to the urban environment. Besides, I think climbing is the real thing. //
And that remind me of another cool popular sport developed in France which young people adore. It involves jumping over buildings and street furniture, climbing trees and roofs and generally moving around th
e city using nothing but your body.

1: talking about our relations with China, we are now doing well one trade and investment, but could do better. China has been our fastest growing market over the period since 2000.
2: our exports of goods rose by 20% in each of 2005 and 2006. Our exports of services rose 54% over the 2 years of 2004 and 2005. We are biggest EU investor in China.
3: some 300 Chinese mainland companies are now investing in the UK, up 55 or more over the past year. There were 21 Chinese companies listed on the London Stock Exchange at the beginning of 2006 and 46 at the end of the year. Chinese investment in the UK * is just starting to roll.
4: we are doing very well in education, with 15% of all foreign students in the UK coming from China. 2006, the number of new mainland students rose 20% to put it on the par with US. The challenge will be to maintain that position.
5: in recent years, with the very rapid expansion of university education in China. Chinese graduates have found it harder to get jobs. We now have 4 schemes in Britain to provide work experiences for overseas students after graduation.
6: one scheme which allows graduates to stay and work for 2 years has been developed in Scotland. About 1/3 of those property from it are Chinese graduates. Another which covers the Hall of UK allows any overseas children competing a PHD degree to stay and work free year.
7: these are proven attractive, because they enable Chinese graduates to do better in the job market.
8: We aim to be China’s EU partner of choice on science and innovation. Last year more joint UK-China research papers were published than research papers published by China and any other EU country. UK research councils are establishing their first overseas office in Beijing.
9: the UK is doing well in terms of sustainable development with China, securing many of the contracts for building the world’s first eco-city in the YS of Shanghai.
10: 50 years ago, our direct interests in China were principally concentrated on Hong Kong, and on limited amounts of trade and investment. Today our interests stretch right across the board. We are fortunate at present to have as good relations with China as we have ever had. The future for that relationship looks bright.
Part III
