单根电线电缆的防火阻燃性能可以通过BS EN
50265-2-1标准进行单根电缆火焰的性能测试。
BS EN 50265-2-1:1999 Common test methods for cable under fire conditions-test for resistance to vertical flame propagation for a single insulated conductor or cable-Part 2-1:Procedures-1 KW pre-mixed flame.
BS EN 50265-2-1:1999 在燃烧情况下电缆和绝缘导线性能的一般检验方法，单芯和单股电缆上垂直火焰扩展的试验，第2-1部分，检验方法，用1KW的混合火焰。
BS EN 50265-2-1测试方法
测试样品为(600± 25)mm的电线电缆。
单根电线电缆垂直火焰燃烧同时满足如下要求被认为通过此测试。 电缆上端的破坏范围不能超过距上夹具50mm处。
电缆下端的破坏范围不能超过距上夹具540mm处。
如果这个两个测试结果有一个没有通过，被认为此测试失败。
