'码头'英语单词的区别

quay, pier, jetty 都表示具体的码头，真正有那么一个河岸、桥墩、突出物、陆域平台可以让船靠泊的地方，比如常见的装卸货物的码头；
berth, dock, terminal 比较抽象，berth指的是能容船靠泊的空间; dock指两码头之间可停船的空间，但更多指船坞；terminal, 则表示终点站，终到港。
