上次介绍了Maggie学校暑期班小朋友一起创作的'青娃公主'的绘本故事书,大家都夸小朋友写的画的很好,很有创意,同时也表扬老师指导有方.这让我回忆起Maggie在Pre-K
(4-5岁小朋友的班级)的时候老师是怎么教他们诗歌和让他们集体创作诗歌的,也非常有趣.Maggie学校每个班级的老师每天都会给家长发EMAIL,汇报一下小朋友做了什么,学了什么,我找了一下以前的邮件,选了有关学写诗歌的部分,翻译出来介绍一下.

诗歌集中念了一些不同类型的诗歌给小朋友听.有些诗歌是押韵的,有些是不押韵的,有些在一首诗里反复同一个字母,有些反复同一个单词.在我们对不同的诗歌类型进行讨论后,我们的小朋友自告奋勇地建议我们要写的诗歌的主题.有这些回答:蓝鲸鱼,照相机,婴儿,魔鬼鱼,雪人,猫和电话.我们大家表决,最后通过了BRYCE小朋友提出的建议:照相机.然后小朋友提议诗歌的名字,有这些回答:伊丽莎白照相机,咔嚓照相机,家庭照片和照照片.我们又进行表决,最后决定采用ISABELLE

里有关语言类学习老师是这样写的:我们接着昨天的学习内容继续进行下去.昨天,我们选择了诗歌的题目:咔嚓照相机.今天,我们投票决定我们要怎么来写诗歌,是要押韵呢,还是不押韵,是要把'C'这个字母反复重复呢,还是把一个单词,比如'照相机'反复重复.投票结果是,我们要写押韵的诗.小朋友接下来就纷纷提议诗歌一行一行的内容.LUCAS先说了第一行,MAGGIE说了第二行,JASMINE
说了第三行,ANDREAS 说了最后一行.这就是我们大家一起写好的诗歌:

大概意思如下:拿起相机拍照片,如果坏了,希望能修好.相机的名字叫咔嚓,上尉AMERICA用相机把TAMARA
救了出来.虽说写得这一搭,那一岔的,但是押韵,风趣,毕竟是4,5岁的小朋友的创作,难能可贵了.

1/26/2010 Language Arts:
Ms. Erin read a few different kinds of poems
from our Pickled Peppers Poetry big book. Some of the poems
rhymed, some did not, some repeated the same letter over and over
and some repeated a word over again throughout the poem.
After discussing the different types of poems we read,
volunteers gave suggestions of things we could write a poem
about. Some answers were: Blue Whale, camera, babies, sting ray,
snowman, cat and phone. We all voted and Bryce's suggestion won,
camera. Volunteers then suggested names for the poem,
those suggestions were: Elizabeth Camera, Clicking Camera, Family
Pictures and Taking Pictures. We took a vote and Isabelle's
suggestion won, Clicking Camera. That was as far as we got
today.

We continued writing a poem together as a class.
Yesterday we got as far as the title, Clicking Camera. We took a
vote on how our poem should be written; whether it should rhyme or
not, or use the letter 'C' over and over again, or use the same
word over again like the word camera. After voting, rhyming won.
Volunteers came up with lines to our poem. Lucas came up with the
first one, Maggie the second, Jasmine the third and Andreas the
last line. This is how the poem goes so far:
