idn't find Wallis. Wallis' brother drove them back to the castle. After Wallis Wallace showed them their rooms, they went out to have a picnic. When they were preparing for the picnic, they heard strange noises. When they were having their picnic they found a cave on the beach.They went round looking for whatever could have made those sounds or a secret passageway or dungeon. But that day they didn't find any thing but two bright green feathers.
The next day, Wallis' brother took them out on the sea to go lobstering. After a while they found another bright green feather on the boat. That was when they found a secret trap door in the meadow. They wen into the trap door and found a tarp with two cages behind it. Each cage had four parrots inside. Then they figured out that the feathers came from the parrots.
After that they remebered the spring lock on the trap door wouldn't open anymore. Then they found out the only way out was the cave they found on the beach. But they couldn't carry the parrots. Soon Ruth Rose told them that they could use their jeans as floats. After the kids took off their jeans, they balanced the cages on the jeans and walked out of the cave.
After that they carried the cages in to the castle, they began looking for whoever might have hidden the parrots. That night one of them saw a light outside. Soon they knew that was no lightening bug. It was the person who hid the parrots. They ran to get Wallis. She called the police to arrest the guy.
Ps: Josh is the funniest kid I have ever heard of. His best features are: Eat and sleep!
