蓝思等级
(Lexile)
是美国孩童健康及人类发展部门，耗资二百五十万美元，超过二十年的研究时间，制定出来的阅读分级检定系统，可以说是最具公信力。决定Lexile级数的两个要素：单词的难度
和句子长度。正式的说法是”semantic
difficulty”和”syntacticcomplexity”。
大家常提到的Harry
Potter，蓝思等级是940L，适合美国小学6年级学生。(每本不太相同，例如Harry
Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone
难度是880 L)
