这四个词都有'惊讶'之意.
1. shock
程度最强.指'震惊', 一般指'令人震惊的坏事'.
We are shocked at the news that he had been killed in the car accident.
Everyone was shocked by his diry words.
2. amaze
与astonish 程度较强.amaze 一般指'令人惊讶的好事.'; astonish 特指”于遇到不可理解的意外而吃惊.'
The film we saw last night really amazed us.
His father was astonished by his son's behaviour.
3.supurise
程度最弱.指由于意外或突然而感到惊讶.
To our surprise , the boy finished the job on time.
这三个词都可以用于这个句式.
