Damn it (俚语)该死!
这是美国人日常生活中常常会使用到的俚语,也可以理解为见鬼!真糟糕!真气死人!大家以后遇到什么棘手的事情,想要表达自己不爽的心情,可以果断摒弃fuck之类的略显粗俗的表达用语,一句damn或是damn it也可以优雅的表达出自己当时的心情
例:Damn it, I got killed.
翻译:该死,我又被杀了。
kick-ass
首先,kick-ass 有牛逼的意思
原文:We need a truly kick-ass team name.
翻译:我们需要一个拉风的(牛逼的)队名。
除了牛逼这层意思之外:
firstly, some people use kick-ass to describe people or things that they think are tough or aggressive. adj 粗暴的; 好斗的
例:a kick-ass businesswoman.

这个词非常的有意思,既可以做形容词,又可以做副词,还可以做名词

2. ADV One-on-one is also an adverb. 一对一地
例子:Talking one-on-one with people is not his idea of fun.
