Originally it was called Terrific Twos, not Tots. The name for this age group came from trying to be the opposite of the phrase 'Terrible Twos', what people always said about 2 year olds. My Gym wanted it to be 'look how wonderful your children are' at this age! They can sit and follow directions. We wanted parents to feel positive about their 2 ½ year olds and to give them attention and praise. Later we changed the name from Terrific Twos to Terrific Tots – so even young 3 year olds could fit into this class structure.

is class was a big step up from the parent participation classes, so our founders wanted to show that the children were independent, confident, and capable little people. Children at this age are also getting stronger and learning more about what their bodies can do, and have great imaginations. The name Mighty Mites was born.
 学阶六，是宝宝脱离家长的独立课程，我们的创始人希望这个阶段能够展示孩子们的独立性、自信心和能够成为一个很有能力的小大人的能力。这个年龄段的小朋友会变得越来越强，对自己的身体了解越多，他们的想象力也越来越丰富，“Mighty Mites”名字由此而来。

Also wanted to show this was a next level up in our classes. Our young children have now grown into 'cool kids' – smart, able to focus more, and do more physically. The word whiz came about because children in this age group are able to follow more detailed instruction, play sports, and participate in group cooperation games and activities. They are Whiz Kids!
