如果说三坊七巷代表了福州的“古代士大夫文化”，上下杭代表了“近代商业文化”，那么烟台山则代表了福州的“近代外交与西式生活文化”。
烟台山是今年来炙手可热的“文青打卡地和城市新地标，是一个充满活力的时尚街区。
烟台山

曾是福州最早的通商口岸聚集地。曾汇聚了17个国家的领事馆（或代办处），至今保留着大量西洋建筑，包括领事馆、教堂、洋行、学校等，风格涵盖哥特式、罗马式、巴洛克式等。
烟台山的精华主要集中在乐群路沿线，这是一条蜿蜒的山路，串联起了大部分核心建筑。
