<The Pianist> is a film
that can be comparable to <Schindler's List>. You can see the
glory of human nature from the film. The leading role the pianist
Szpilman got helps from many people when he was fleeing towards
freedom. From all those kind people we saw humanity although some
persons’ deeds were disgraceful. For example, the first person who
saved Szpilman’s life was a Jewish traitor serving for Nazi.
Another thing we can see is the desire to survive. Szpilman was
able to evade many difficulties to stick to the end, there must be
hope and faith in his heart, I think he is always convinced that
justice can prevail over the evil and the victory will come soon.
We may ignore another role in the movie because he only appeared
for a moment in the film. The German officer who was the last
person to assists the pianist. Although he is not the main
character, but is the key figure of the film. This is a good movie
