五、 教学准备：
课堂整体运用任务型教学模式以及阅读课“四个阶段”教学模式。本课指导学生通过阅读获取信息，培养学生阅读技能。在教学过程中，采用多媒体手段辅助教学，利用各种图片和习题任务贯穿整个教学过程。因此，本节课需准备：PPT课件、挂图、录音机、课堂练习表格、奖品

T: Do you still remember this piece of music?
Who’s it by?
T: Yes, Johann Strauss the younger. There are two composers called Johann Strauss, Johann Strauss the younger and Johann Strauss the elder. Do you know their relationship? Let’s get to know more about them?

2. T: ok, we are going to learn our new lesson, Unit2 Vienna is the centre of European classical music.
Lecture some new words:
elder, young, composer, Vienna, European, classical…
1. Listen carefully about Johann Strauss.











2. Learn the new words with their partners.

Please read the second paragraph and complete the table of Johann Strauss the younger and Johann Strauss the elder.

Ask some students to write out their answers on the blackboard.
