“所以，”他说，“你们两个都给了我红包。”
两位律师有点坐立不安。
“莱昂律师，你给了我1万5千美元。而你，坎波斯律师，给了我1万美元。”
法官把手伸进口袋，掏出一张支票。他把支票递给了莱昂……
“那么，现在，我退还你5千美元。我们将完全根据案情本身的是非曲直来审理此案。”

Taking his seat in his chambers，the judge faced the opposing lawyers。
“So，”he said，“I have been presented，by both of you，with a bribe。”
Both lawyers squirmed uncomfortably。
