Hi ,everyone!My name is Tong zirui and I am a student in Grade Eight.Today, I'm very glad to stand here, and I want to talk about 'saving food, saving the world'.
Why am I talking about this today?The reasons are the following.
First of all,as saying goes, 'Food is the paramount necessity of the people.'If there isn't enough food, many people will die of hunger,there won't be enough people to go to work,and the economy ofthe country will decline.This is not alarmist talk, but a truth.
What's more, if a country is a short off food, it will try to rob other countries of their resources.This will lead to war and brain great pain to the people all over the world.
That's why I say saving foot is saving the world.This leads on to the next question:how can we say food?
Firstly, when you eat in a restaurant,just order the food you can finish eating,or it coul
d cause a lot of waste.And remember to finish the food in your plate .Let’s join in the “Clean Plate Campaign” !In addition, it's a good idea to talk to the people around you about the importance of saving food.I believe more and more people will realize how important it is to save food.
