一、 over-----与其说是 在...期间 不如说是 在某个时间一直... (连续的状态,行为等)
over a five-year period 历时达5年,
Over many years 许多年以来,
The fish will not keep over night.这条鱼放不到明天(就会变质)
work over night 通霄工作
during ----- 在...期间 或 在...期间的某个时间点上发生或做了某事(间断的或一次性的状态或行为)
A Mr. Smith called twice during your absence ［＝in your absence］.你不在的时候,有个史密斯先生来过两次电话.
He left during the afternoon. 他于下午动身
He fell asleep during the lesson. 他在上课时睡着了。
They swim every day during the holidays. 他们在假期天天游泳。

during: 在某段时间中，在某事件期间中；
for:持续的时间，主谓语持续的时间，后多接数词；
over:在某段时间，从头至尾。
