芙蓉葵，学名Hibiscus moscheutos，锦葵科木槿属多年生直立草本植物，又名草芙蓉、大花秋葵、美秋葵等。原产于美国东部，现在世界广泛栽种，杂交培育新品种，其特色是花非常大，直径可以达到20cm，花型与木槿、扶桑基本一样，有红、粉、白多种花色，夏季-秋季都可以看到开花。在波
士顿哈佛大学阿诺德树木园一个小池塘周边有不少芙蓉葵，品种为Hibiscus moscheutos ssp. Palustris，粉色。在波士顿绿道和翡翠项链及其它地方也可以看到不同花色的芙蓉葵，多为杂交品种。
