五、教学设计
(一)教学目标
1.知识与技能:
能够掌握故事大意。
能够在图片和插图的帮助下读懂本课的故事。
能够在老师的帮助下简单复述故事梗概或片断。
2.情感态度:
孝敬父母,在日常生活中帮父母做一些力所能及的小事。
3.学习策略:
通过出示图片激发孩子们学习兴趣,调动孩子们的积极性。通过已有单词的学习构建新的单词,学生们接受起来更加容易。
(二)学生的分析:
本课的教学对象是小学六年级的学生。他们对英语的一些基础知识已经有所掌握,并且具备了一定的口语表达能力。本课对于学生们来说应该是较简单。
(三)内容分析:
本课是六年级上册第一单元中的第6课,是一篇故事课,总结了本单元的知识点。形象生动,趣味性强但又不乏教育意义。
(四)课时安排:一课时(40分钟)
(五)教学手段:图片、多媒体等

教学过程:
Step I.Class Opening. (2 minutes)
1.Greeting: Hello, boys and girls. How are you? Nice to meet you.
2.Talk and say:
T:Hi boys and girls.Today I have a new friend here.Do you want to know her?She has yellow hair.She is a little fat.She is very very little .(一点点出示Baby Becky的图片)She is very cute and happy.Yes?(板书Baby Becky happy)
Ss:Yes.
(设计意图:通过教师的语言描述和一点点的出示图片调动孩子们的积极性和提高孩子们的注意力。)
TDo you want to know what happened to her and her mother?(出示Mother的图片并板书)Ok,Let's read this story together.
Step II :
1. Pre-reading activites :3minutes
T:listen to the radio and answer the questions:
aWhat's the baby's name?
bWhat can she say?
cWhat does she like to do?
2. While- reading activites:25minutes
T:listen to the tape again and look at the whole story.
aWhere does the Baby Becky go at home?(5minutes)(设计意图学生们通过录音找到Baby Becky 所到之处,分别有:kitchenbathroomliving room
T:Now Baby Becky is in the kitchen.(板书kitchenPlease look at picture234and answer(9minutes):
aWhat does Baby Becky do in the kitchen?
bWhat does she see in the fridge?
cWhat does she cook for dinner?
T:Now Baby Becky is very dirty.Where does she go?(板书bathroomPlease look at picture56 and answer(8minutes):
aWhat does Baby Becky put in the toilet?
bDoes Baby Becky want a shower?(出示shower的图片帮助学生们理解意思)
cIs there any water in the bathroom?(讲解everywhere.通过分别讲解everywhere这两个词来理解everywhere)
T:Oh where is Baby Becky's mother?(板书living room) Please look at picture7and answer(2minutes):
aIs her mother tired?(板书tired
bWhat time is it?
T:Yes it's time for dinner.Is the dinner ok?(板书kitchen) Please look at picture8and answer(1minutes)
aWho did it?
bWho will make it clean?
T:But her mother is tired.Can Baby Becky help mum?
3. Post-reading activites.(10minutes)
Let's listen and read the story again.
T:If you were Baby Becky what will you do?(5minutes)
(设计意图:让孩子们变身为Baby Becky通过故事引导他们在日常生活中要孝敬自己的父母,做一些力所能及的小事。)
T:Retell this story(5minutes)
(设计意图:学生们通过黑板上教师的板书来复述故事,降低了一定的难度也锻炼了孩子们的口语表达能力)
