When research buddies want to submit his or her papers to IEEE
ACCESS, the following tips will contribute to the your typesetting.
1) if you want to submit your paper to IEEE ACCESS, the first thing
you must take into accout is to download the ACCESS template in
IEEE Author Center. As a matter of fact, in
IEEE Author Center, we can download most IEEE paper template
including IEEE conferences and IEEE journals. To be more effective,
please click here to obtain the IEEE access
template. Clearly, there are two templates (Word template and Latex
template) to satisfy different demands. Since the Latex template is
much more popular among reseachers, we here only introduce how to
use the IEEE access template and give some notices and tips for
readers.
2) After we download the IEEE access template, we can compile this
template at first. Please note that this template must compile by
PDFLaTex (red oval in Fig. 1), rather than common LaTex (black
ractangle in Fig. 2).
3) In general, access template supports the picture formats, such
as
.jpg, .png and .pdf . However, the
compiler of access template, i.e., PDFLaTex, does not work when we
insert the picture format .eps. In my opinion, this is the biggest
difference between the PDFLaTex and
LaTex. Therefore, if we can transform .eps to
.pdf, the format .pdf will be successful to be insert into our
paper. In order to realize this idea, we can take the steps below
to obtain .pdf format:
First of all, using the cmd command to open the computer terminal

Then, convert the directory to the directory where the eps file
resides by the following command:
Subsequently, convert the .eps to .pdf by using the epstopdf
command
Finally, we could open the D:\111 to obtain the .pdf file
Therefore, the .eps format is converted into .pdf susccessfully and
we can insert the .pdf to our access paper.
