Lesson 7 Arriving in Beijing
（一）教材分析
1. 单元及课文分析
本单元的句型主要围绕LiMing一行人去北京的所见所闻。这一课的内容是现在进行时态人称的复数句型,是第一单元的继续和深入。对于五年级的学生来说，难度将继续提升，所以在帮助学生理解的同时，采取一些学生喜欢的方式让学生更多的参与到课堂活动中来,让学生能在活动中复习与巩固。
2. 教学重点
学习复数名词的不规则变化，巩固和扩充学生的词汇，复习现在进行时。
3. 教学难点
（1）正确使用主语是复数的现在进行时。
（2）复数名词不规则变化的应用。
（二）教学目标
语言知识与技能
1.会听说读写词汇：people many child
children women men
2.会使用现在进行时态和名词复数表达。
情感态度
1.通过游戏，填空等方式激发学生的学习兴趣。
2.采取小组合作及评价的形式，加强学生的合作意识。
学习策略
贯穿于课堂教学始终的形成性评价包含了自我评价和他人评价，有利于学生发展调控策略，形成自主学习能力。
教学准备
录音机，多媒体等。
（三）．教学步骤
Step 1 Class Opening (7 minutes)
1. Review.
1: Write the words.
写出下列单词的ing形式。
1. fly sleep do listen
play
2. ride make dance
3. run swim sit
2: Write the
words.写出名词的复数形式。并自己总结规律。
1. book picture apple
2. bus box dress
总结: 1.一般情况加s
2.以s, sh, ch,
x结尾加es.
Step 2 New Concepts (17 minutes)
1.出示图片，介绍几个复数名词的不规则变化。
T: We know nouns have rules, but some words are different.
Let’s have a look。
(课件展示：这几个单词的复数名词变化不规则。)
T: What can you see in the picture?
S: A child.
T: What is the child doing?
S: The child is flying a kite.
T: Now, What can you see in the picture?
S: Two children.
T: What are the children doing?
S: The children are flying kites.
[设计思路：从上一环节的总结中引出今天新授的三个单词children women
men，这三个单词并没有规律变化，出示图片，并把单词引入句型中。]
2.Practice：通过闯关游戏复习本课的知识。
1） look and write.
复习对比单词.
[设计思路：通过练习，让学生充分掌握单词单复数的区别。]

match.
(课件展示：练习单复数表达方法，由简及繁。)

（课件展示：用复数表达方法练习句型。）

(找出每组图片中的不同的地方.)
Step 3 Come back to the text and consolidation. (16
minutes)
1. 李明一行人到达车站，通过问题Where are
they？引出句型They are on their way to the
hotel.
1）学生带着问题读课文，并回答。
2）跟读课文，模仿语音语调。
3）听力练习，填空What do they
see？
