今天是2019年4月19日，星期五，复活节前七天，是耶稣受难日，英语称“Good Friday”。这里的“good”有不同的解释。有人认为是“God”的别字，即“God's Friday”。一个更为权威的解释，来自James Murry编写的《英语大词典》：该词源自最早出现于1290年的“guode”，意为“教堂纪念的圣日”，所以也就是“holy”，或“神圣”的意思。如同往年的此时，又想起爱略特的《荒原》：April is the crullest month...。为何四月是残忍月？因为四月是复苏的季节，而记忆的复苏最让人痛不欲生。
APRIL is the cruellest month, breeding
