乾隆时期,瓷器工艺可以说达到六方瓶,又称六棱瓶。明中晚期流行的瓶式之一,因瓶体作六棱柱形而得名。
乾隆皇帝儒雅好古,对于康熙、雍正时期遗留宫内的珐琅彩瓷更视为珍宝。除承前制继续在宫中烧制外,并为每件器物配制楠木匣钵,专门储藏于乾清宫珐琅彩瓷的专库(端凝殿)内。乾隆时期珐琅彩瓷在数量上远远超过了康、雍两朝,器型更加丰富。此时珐琅作里,群英荟萃,人才济济,有专画花鸟鱼虫的画家余省,画人物楼景的画家张廷彦,画人物花卉的画家金廷标等达17人之多。是参与画珐琅瓷器制作人员最多的时期。乾隆时期画珐琅的画匠大多来自广东、江西和宫廷,乾隆皇帝还从江西调会画磁器、会吹釉水兼炼料烧造磁器匠役胡信侯入内廷造办处。形成乾隆珐琅彩瓷“取材种类多样”、“装饰繁缛华美”的艺术特色。乾隆时烧珐琅彩瓷的地点除了延续在清宫内务府造办处外,在圆明园造办处亦有烧造。出现了珐琅彩与粉彩合绘的现象,同时多使用轧道工艺表现器物的立体效果。
瓷器部分汇集了清康熙、乾隆、嘉庆、道光等朝官窑瓷器,其中乾隆时期的一对黄地粉彩描金堆花博古纹六方瓶皇家御用瓷是本场拍卖的最大亮点,与此相仿的一件拍品曾在2007春季香港苏富比拍卖中以2272万港元的高价成交,国内目前仅见上海博物馆藏有一件器型、纹饰相同的“清雍正绿地粉彩描金堆花博古纹六角形瓶”,此件精品将会在拉斯维加斯亮相,实属难得。
