程阳：S Korean lottery sales up 12 pct in Q1
SEOUL, Apr 3, 2009 (Asia In Focus via COMTEX) -- Lottery sales in South Korea jumped 12 per cent during the first quarter from a year earlier amid a protracted economic slump, a government report showed Friday. According to the report by the Ministry of Strategy and Finance, lottery sales in the January-March period amounted to 643.5 billion won (US$481 million), compared with 575.4 billion won in the same quarter a year earlier.
