As per Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, “YOGAS CITTA VRTTI NIRODHAH”, means“Yoga is controlling the thought waves of the mind”.

When the surface of a lake is still, the bottom can be clearly seen. In the same way, when the mind is still, with no thoughts or desires, you can see the ‘self’. This state of calm is called YOGA.
湖面静止时可以看到清澈的湖底,同样,当内心平静时,没有杂念和欲望,你就可以看到“真我”,这种平静的状态就叫做“瑜伽”。
But how to controlling the thought waves?
