The course delivers a broad education in engineering management and
business, and will equip you with the analytical tools and

e of the year, you will develop skills in the research, analysis,
and evaluation of complex business problems, and gain a methodical

You will learn about the processes and technologies used by
engineering businesses, and will develop an understanding of the

Elective modules 选修课程
You will need to choose two elective modules (or one elective if
you are required to take Manufacturing Technology) from the full
module list, which should be chosen to supplement your course
modules above. Elective modules are subject to availability and
restrictions apply.
Please note: the list relates to modules available in 2018/19
academic year, and should be regarded as an illustrative guide to
modules available in future years.
You are required to pass nine modules in total for this MSc
course.
Project 项目
Your project is worth 50% of your final grade and supports you in
developing your personal research skills.
This should cover the broad area of Engineering Business Management
and can be related to the management of companies in a wide range
of different industrial sectors. Various aspects of business
management can be addressed such as operations, financial, human
resources, supply chain, or strategic management issues.
Academic Requirements
In order to meet our academic entry requirement, you should have
obtained the minimum of a UK second class honours degree (or
equivalent) in a variety of disciplines, including engineering,
science or business.

EBM is designed for graduates who want become managers or leaders
of technology-based organisations. It is particularly suited to
students with an engineering, scientific or other technical
background, who are looking to understand and develop management
expertise. It is also appropriate for students who have a business
or even a social science background and are looking to move into an
engineering related sector.

IELTS (International English Language Testing System)
6.5 (no less than 6.0 in any element)

UK/EU: £14,115 full-time
