Build Trust between Teachers and Students
（提出问题）The past few years have witnessed a
number of incidents involving the conflict between
teachers and students, which more or less resulted in the weakening
of trust between the two sides.
（分析问题）A number of factors can account for the
problem, but the leading reason is the misbehavior
of either the teacher or the student. On the one hand, some
teachers may have taken advantage of their students or infringed
upon their rights, which caused the latter to lose trust in the
former. On the other hand, some students or their parents
might be too picky, which rendered the teacher to be anxious and
even fearful.
Whatever the reason is, if the situation is allowed to
continue, the consequence will be worrisome. On the one
hand, teachers will lose their authority and
dignity;on the other hand, students may not progress
healthily.

In view of the seriousness of the problem, effective
measures must be taken before the situation deteriorates. First, it
is imperative that laws and regulations be worked out and enforced
to punish those who infringe
on others’ rights, be they teachers or students. Secondly,

taken, we have every reason to believe that the problem will be

hand, some stores may have sold substandard commodities to the
customer, which caused the latter to lose trust in the former.
