陶行知（1891－1946），安徽省歙县人。中国现代著名诗人，伟大的人民教育家、思想家。先后任南京高等师范学校、国立东南大学教授、教务主任等职。陶行知诗歌创作以及教育思想的创新，表现在培养目标上。早在他创办南京安徽公学时就为这所学校提出三个教育目标：研究学问，要有科学的精神；改造环境，要有审美的意境；处世应变，要有高尚的道德修养。陶行知著有诗集《行知诗歌集》、《行知诗歌前集》、《行知诗歌三集》等及教育文论多部。

Tao is the author of poems 'The poems of Xingzhi,' 'front poems of Xingzhi,' 'three-line poems known' and other literary and education department.
