Apple’s Success
The little iPad is on the top of list of what IT brings this year. And of course, Steve Jobs wins with it.

The innovation that Steve boosts, is focusing on new combination of existing parts, like the touch-screen of LG, power-saving processing unit into a product, and this product makes profit by changing people’s life and raising efficiency.

The intelligence of this philosophy is selling idea, avoiding R&D cost by not investing on the development of new parts but use existing ones. And let other firms develop. R&D is high risky, which means it’ll bring enormous profit if success and it’ll be sunk cost if it fails. The Motorola satellites is a lesson. Good examples are, LG’s new touc
h screen.

This little touch-screen computer succeeds not only by creating a new idea but also by executing. Yes the concept may have been put forward years ago but no one really released it before iPad. It’s hard to realize may because of screen in dump reaction, low processing speed, high heat and low running time, weight, etc. It’s the difficulty. But entrepreneur should realize that it’s also the key to victory.

In another perspective, the creation in executing the innovative idea, is the spirit of reaching both zenith. We were told that you cannot have them both but either/or. Either/or means low budget, and both means the rise of budget. And the executing means having the budget risen.

So it is the idea that reflecting entrepreneurship makes sense. Steve Jobs is not alone. Bill Gates sells idea by combining existing software. Even the creation of the concept of windows belongs to someone but not Bill, not to mention E-Mail, internet explorer, etc.
