Tinglin Park is located at the city heart of Kunshan, one of
county-level cites of Suzhou, which has been entitled the head of
the top 100 counties of China for a couple of years.

The park has three treasures, namely Kun rockery, twin lotus
flowers, and rare flowers. A lot of exquisite Kun rockerys exhibit
in the Kun Rockery Museum in the park.

In summer, the peculiar
twin lotus flowers would
exquisitely bloom in the pond.

The rare flower is the city
flower of Kunshan. Here is a big over 300-year-old rare flower tree
below. In spring, the flowers always bloom luxuriantly.

The park was named after Mr. Gu Yanwu, who was born in Kunshan in
the Ming and Qing Dynasties and contributed a lot to literature,
geography and phonology development of China. In the park, the Gu
Yanwu Museum exhibits his whole life and a great contribution to
the country.

As we know, Kun Opera originated in Kunshan over 600 years, so the
Museum of Kun Opera depicts its history and development in Kunshan
and in China. What's more, the park is a relaxing place.

The park was well designed and managed according to some principals
of Suzhou classical gardens.

For examples, the moon gate and relaxing pavilion were well built
in the park.
Actually, the park looks like the saddle, so the original
name was called the Saddle Hill, but has changed its name into
Tinglin Park in memory of Mr. Gu Yanwu since 1936.

The hill is only 80 meters high, so it's easy for hiking. The hill
is the main source of Kun rockery, but the mining was not allowed
many years ago in order to protect the Kun Rocky.

How fabulous the views are from the summit.

What an amazing overall city of Kunshan from the summit.
