古墓成蒼嶺，幽宮象紫台。
星辰七曜隔，河漢九泉開。
有海人寧渡，無春雁不回。
更聞松韻切，疑是大夫哀。

(Passing By the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor)
The mount of the olden tomb is shrubs-clad,
Likened to a sacred celestial hall,
Lit by five stars, by the sun, by the moon,
Within, it ever flows a silver sea,
Yet no one can cross that sea, and eke sad,
No wild geese to and fro from spring to fall.
Alas, I heard the pine trees in wind croon,
Is it the lament of Mt. Tai Pine Tree?
