第九单元的语法重点是：定语从句。 定语从句 定语从句：在复合句中，修饰某一名词或代词的从句叫做定语从句。定语从句可以分为限制性定语从句和非限制性定语从句。本单元主要学习由 who、that、which 引导的限制性定语从句。 先行词：被定语从句所修饰的名词或代词称为先行词。 关系代词：引导定语从句的关联词称为关系代词。关系代词在定语从句中有三个作用： (1)引导定语从句； (2)代替先行词； (3)在定语从句中充当一个成分。 who、that、which 一般在定语从句中充当关系代词 【例句】 She is the girl who/that wants to see you. The man wants to find a house that/which is in the center of the city. The story (that/which) he told me yesterday was interesting.
