Module 10 The Weather
Unit1 It might snow 教学设计
Teaching aims
知识目标:
1. To understand the conversation about the weather.
2. To talk about possibilities.
情感目标:
通过本单元的的学习,要求学生小结描述天气的形容词,熟悉天气预报中温度的表达方法,并展开与天气有关的小对话,让学生初步感知may/might可能性的表述
Step1 Lead--in
1. Ask: What’s the weather like today?
Then let the students practise what’s the weather like in spring/summer/autumn/winter.
设计意图:复习以前所学内容,导入新课,激发学生学习兴趣,调动学习热情,唤起对天气已有知识的记忆,为下一步教学展开做好铺垫。
Step 2 Pre-listening
1. Let the students say out some words about the weather. Then show so
me pictures about the Sun, the cloud …. Change nouns into adjectives in groups. Sum up the rules.

设计意图:利用表示天气的符号,能够把名词变成形容词,并总结这些单词的变化规律,让学生学会思考并与其他人合作学习,培养习惯。
2. Exercises
T: Give some pictures, set an example for the students.
S: Work in pairs, practise this small dialogue.
What’s the weather like?
It’s windy/cloudy…
3. Ask: What’s the temperature today in Liaocheng? Tell them it’s between minus six and plus three degrees. Explain how to describe the temperature.
5 five degrees -7 minus seven degrees
-5­-7 between minus 5 and plus seven degrees
Then give them some numbers. Let the students practise them.
设计意图:通过当地气温,引入气温的表达方法,让学生熟悉温度的表达方法,有利于训练学生听懂天气预报。
4. Listening
Listen to the weather forecast and check the correct information in the table. Ask the students to look at the weather table carefully. Then complete them with full sentences.
设计意图: 本活动为听力活动,目的是让学生听懂天气预报,并根据图表用完整的句子表达出来,主要是培养学生的细节听力技巧。
2Listening to the tape and complete the table. Then listen and read. Work in groups, Roles play.
设计意图:本活动是通过听谈话天气的对话,让学生感知可能性的表述,然后小组合作表演这段对话,培养学生合作精神。
Step3. Practice
1. Let the students find out some sentences including may/might
It may not even be cold, just wet. ……
2. Look at the pictures, practise
What will the weather be like tomorrow?
It probably…../ It may/might…..
设计意图:根据找出的例句,理解表示可能性的句子。然后仿照例句,同桌互相交流,共同合作完成将来可能出现的天气情况。如果能根据所给的图画,再给出合理的建议,学生的学习就得到了升华。
Step4 Conclusion
Look at the table, report the weather forecast, and try their best to use the sentences that they have just learnt.
设计意图:从总体上把握本课,最终让它成为自己的东西并输出,让学生最后用自己的语言表达出课文中所学内容。锻炼学生的英语思维,口语表达等一系列综合运用语言的能力。
Step5. Homework
Know about when is the best time to visit your hometown.
设计意图:根据对季节的了解,以及学生对天气的喜好不同,将自己家乡喜欢的季节写出来,锻炼学生写作能力,培养学生主动学习的习惯。

——陈园园
徐老师的这节课是一堂清晰实在,动静结合的英语课。教师以新的课程理念为指导,充分考虑了学生这一年龄阶段的特点,在本课的教学设计和组织上注重了以下几个方面。
1 。 关注教学方法。体现了一个活字。教师的教学方法灵活,新单词呈现形式多样,应该说正堂课中,教师在引入新词时,都是比较新颖而又自然,而且具有生活化。教师还注意利用图片,表情动作等作为教学资源,创设讲解,提炼和运用英语的情景。
2.徐老师贯彻以学生为中心的原则,关注教学过程的,尽可能发挥学生的主体作用,让学生去感受知识,体验知识,积极参与,努力实践,在活动中学会用语言表达交流,体现了从不懂到懂,从不会到会,从不熟练到熟练的过程。
3教学活动设计丰富多彩,有效,训练方式多样。有全班活动,师生互动,小组活动,双人活动,个人活动等,在活动中突破难点,在活动中发展能力。教师为了巩固本科的活动内容。静心设计了多个活动,有歌曲,有游戏,内容丰富不但使单词,句型的操练面广,练习次数多,而且还调动了每一个学生的参与热情,将热闹的形式与有效的语言实践有机结合。

教学目标:
1. 复习Module9话题,谈论鳌江的变化、问题及提出建议
2.能学会运用写作三步骤(审、列、美)来完成作文
3.能根据作文评分标准来对自己或他人的作文进行评分.
3.鼓励英语水平差的学生动笔写也可以轻松得分,引导水平好的学生能得更高的分数
3通过了解鳌江的现状,增强对家乡鳌江的热爱。

教学后记:
通过这节课的学习,学生对于如何写作有了更清晰的了解。对于中下学生来讲,知道如何拿到基本分;对于中上学生来说,知道怎样的文章是好文章。
这节课的changes in Aojiang这一步,应该引导学生用比较级讲出更多关于鳌江的变化。
