☆指导思想与理论依据
我设计这一节课的指导思想就是:语言是一种信息,而故事教学又是一种让学生非常感兴趣的语言信息。学生们听故事时,即使没有字字弄懂,也能理解意思;在复述或讲故事时,能轻易地记住和积累一些简短、有趣、易学的句子,甚至还能运用得恰到好处。同时,故事教学能够让学生不仅在课内讲、课外讲、校内讲、家里讲,甚至在路上也可以重复着这些乐趣无穷的英语故事。
英国教育学家Andrew Wright曾指出∶Stories are
particularly important in the lives of our children; stories help
children to understand their world and to share it with others
.
由此可见,故事不仅可以让学生学习、理解英语,还可以让他们学会分享,这是我们中西方文化相交的部分。合作意识是21世纪人才不可缺少的素质之一,教师应该把课堂的大舞台让给学生,为他们提供更多的交流、表演和合作的机会,甚至自找合作者,从而更进一步拓展学生的个性,提高学生的心理素质。
☆教材分析
本课的重点内容围绕fast
和slow这对反义词展开单词和句子。本课的主要句型是Who is fast
?The rabbit is fast .Who is slow? The turtle is
slow
.通过故事的讲述,在掌握基础句型的基础上,学生会用英语表达生活中的一些现象。比如体育课上进行了一场赛跑比赛,通过学习这个故事之后,孩子们会用英语表达Who
is fast ? …is fast . Who is
slow? …is slow
.并且明白了“谦虚使人进步,骄傲使人落后的道理”。
☆学情分析
学生在前几课的学习中已经掌握了几对英语反义词,并且能够运用句型:Who is …?
… is…
.表达一些表示相反的事物,但是本节课采用英语故事的教学方法,孩子们还没有接触过,结合学生的实际情况,让学生在课前读了中文版的龟兔赛跑故事,学生在理解本课的学习内容时就相对简单了,而且会不由自主的将上课听到的英文与中文故事相结合起来。
☆教学目标
1.知识目标:
①掌握单词 fast slow rabbit
turtle 。
②能够听、说、读、写fast slow rabbit
turtle四个重点单词及重要句型Who is fast ?The rabbit
is fast .Who is slow? The turtle is slow
.。
③能够掌握本节课的重要单词和句子,运用本节课学到的英语和同学进行交流。
2.能力目标:学生会用英语表达生活中的一些相反现象。
3.情感目标:明白“谦虚使人进步,骄傲使人落后的道理”,在以后的生活和学习中做一个谦虚上进的人
☆教学重点和难点
教学重点:通过听故事,读故事,说故事,议故事,讲故事掌握4个重点单词和2个重要句型
教学难点:用英语叙述本节课的英文故事。
