乘船抵沪，死于1865年。女的是个中国人，自称男的女友。说这个Raymond是男友的祖先。想查一下他的死因，被安葬在上海哪里。
利用百度，似乎无法查出这个“名人”。或许此人的名气还真不够响亮。于是Google 和 Google book search 双管齐下搜索：Samuel Raymond shanghai，倒是查到一些端倪：
