神仙昨日降都門，種得藍田玉一盆。
自是霜娥偏愛冷，非關倩女欲離魂。
秋陰捧出何方雪？雨漬添來隔宿痕。
卻喜詩人吟不倦，肯令寂寞度朝昏？

Yesterday, an immortal came down to my door,
Who planted, in a pot, Blue-Field-Jade seeds galore.
The love of Frost-goddess clings to cold, which differs
From a girl’s love, whose soul to her beau, and what’s more,
O, from where did autumn-clouds bring such icy snow?
Last night rain gave her teary grace all adore.
So glad poet and poetess tirelessly chant,
For who’d day and night let her have a lonely core?
