Unit 5 School life第二课时教学设计
【教学目标】
1. Can identify pictures or objects
according to the words you hear, and can read, speak and write
words according to the pictures
2. Be able to understand
conversations and complete the conversation with the
picture.
3. Can identify the characters according
to the sentences you hear, and use the sentences to describe the
costumes of the characters
4. Focusing on group cooperation and
situational teaching, using games to help students understand and
apply what they have learned;
5. Guide the students to get the correct
information by listening to the sound, and master certain listening
skills.
6. Help the students to know ho
w to use questions and answers to communicate simple information
about the characters' clothes.
【教学重点】
Let the students learn to read the words that represent
characters' clothes:
skirt,shirt,tie,blouse,sweater,cardigan,shoes,socks,trousers,blazer,school
uniform,jacket.
【教学难点】
Students can get the correct information by reading and
listening. Can find the words corresponding to the pictures; Able
to communicate with friends about characters' clothes in
English.
【教学过程】
Step 1 Warming up
The teacher plays a song about the English
alphabet.
Help the students to review the letters quickly.
Step 2 Revision
The teacher asked the students
Review the question and answer patterns of the last lesson
about exchanging information about learning English.
Step 3 Find and write
1.Look at the password of P39 and the
corresponding letters. Use stick figure or projector to help the
students distinguish the password of P39 and the password of
P39.
2. The teacher can guide the students to understand the
requirements of the activity. The teacher can make a demonstration
and guide the students to convert the uppercase letters to
lowercase letters.
3. When students finish the exercises, teachers will make
rounds and give instructions.
4. Check the answers together with teachers and
students.
5. The teacher teaches the words with pictures
or courseware:
skirt,shirt,sweater,shoes,socks,blouse,cardigan,tie,trousers。
6. The teacher designed the activity and
practiced the words:
(1)Listen for words to point to
pictures or objects;(2)Look at pictures or things and say words.
Identify pictures or objects according to the words.
Step 4 Listen
1. Use multiple activities, such as
Guessing game,Flashcard.
Help the students to review the words of
clothing, so as to get ready for the following
study.
2. Listen to the tape and let the
students feel the conversation.
3. Listen to the tape again. Open your
books to P39 and ask the students to repeat what they have
heard.
4. Listen to the tape for the third time
and try to complete the dialogue by yourselves.
5. Check the answers together with the
students. At the same time, guide the students to understand and
learnschool uniform。
Step 5 Read and Talk
1. Read after the tape and learn the dialogue.
Learn the sentence pattern: Have you got
your…? Wait a minute. You look very cool.
Can guide the students to guess the scene
of the dialogue according to the content;
2. Ss practice the dialogue using the following
forms:
a) Dialogue between boys and
girls;
b) Group conversations.
2. According to the students'
situation, the teacher designs some situational dialogues, such as
WeChat, QQ dialogue, etc.
Step 6 Listen and
find
1.The teacher describes a student in the class.
The students guess the name of the student according to the
teacher's description.
T:She has got big eyes and a small mouth. She likes English.
She is wearing a white blouse and a blue skirt. What’s your
name?
2. The teacher plays the tape and the students
learn two names from the tape:Tracy and Chris。
Step 7 Listen ,point and
repeat
1. The teacher plays the tape again. Ss
open their books to page 40 and listen to the tape again with the
pictures. Guide the students to understand and learn the new
word:blazer。
2. The teacher plays the tape for the
third time. Please write down the names of the people according to
the description of the clothes. Teachers give necessary listening
guidance to students, such as focusing on the core information,
distinguishing different information and so on.
3. Look at the pictures with your fingers
and repeat the phrases. On this basis, guide the students to learn
and practice the sentence patterns:
Tracy/She/Chris/He is wearing… and …
4. Ss can use the sentences to describe
the clothes of the characters in the pictures.
Step 8 Play a
game
The teacher guides the students to play the game. The
students are divided into groups to show a dialogue in front of the
blackboard. One student chooses the description worn by any student
in the class, and the other student guesses which student it
is.
Step 9 Summary
Look at the blackboard and review the important sentence
patterns with the students.
Step 10
Homework
Introduce the clothes of your family in English.
