結廬在人境， I built a cabin i
n haunts of human being
而無車馬喧。 With no hubbub of horse-carts servitude.
問君何能爾？ If thou ask me how could I be this doing ?
心遠地自偏。 My heart can go afar being self-solitude.

採菊東籬下， To pick chrysanths ’neath hedges on east side,
悠然見南山。 I behold idly Southern Mountain in the mood.
山氣日夕佳， How cozy the mount air from dawn to night,
飛鳥相與還。 Flying back nest birds in pairs action.
此中有真意， Herein it has lain a truth of the life,
欲辨已忘言。 I want to tell yet words mere oblivion.
