译记：
这是英国桂冠诗人丁尼生男爵晚年时的著名诗作。
Bar，或
sandbar，是指河流入海口处狭长的沙洲。丁尼生写到，他将随着退潮，悄然航过沙洲，驶入大海。
这里，“航过沙洲”是比喻死亡。“领航人”指上帝。诗中，丁尼生记录了自己面临死亡的思索，以及安然、坦然的接受。

太阳西沉，夜晚星光闪闪
一个清晰的声音把我召
唤
在我向着大海出发之时
祈望沙洲上没有呜咽哀叹
愿流动的潮水似睡意安然
涨满后无声也无泡沫飞溅
这来自无际深渊的潮流
此时正要再度向故乡归返
暮色苍茫，晚钟飘荡悠远
随后就要降临漫漫的黑暗
正当我登船起航的时候
我希望不会有诀别的伤感
因为我会随潮水去途遥远
超越我们时间空间的界限
当我航过了沙洲的时候
我希望与领航人当面相见
