They dropped like flakes, they dropped like stars,
人們墜如雪片、流星，
Like petals from a rose,
似玫瑰落花瓣，
When suddenly across the June

A wind with fingers goes.
風揮巴掌猛搧。
They perished in the seamless grass, --
人們死於穠密草叢，
No eye could find the place;
