第八周语法作业（ING分词）

一、语法摘要：
'-ING' Participle includes Presenet Participle and Gerund.
There are some verbs that can only be followed by -ING Participles such as 'admit, acknowledge, anticipate, advocate, appreciate, avoid consider and so on.
And there are also some berbs that can not be followed by -ING Participles directly. Instead, a preposition should be added after the object.

（一）Put the verbs in brackets into the correct forms, choosing between the -ing participle and the infinitive:
1.You must endeavour _______ (explain) yourself more clearly.
答案：to explain
解析：endeavour后只能直接带不定式。

2.Bob contemplated ________ (go) to Africa after graduation.
答案：going
解析：contemplate后只能直接带ING分词。

3.Don't tell me you always escape _______ (be) fined because you have a very fast sports car!
答案：being
