一、分析教材
单元主题总体表述：本单元的话题是School
life“校园生活”，话题所属的主题语境是人与自我。校园生活这一话题，是人与自我主题语境下比较重要的一部分，更是每个学生必经的阶段，是人生中不可或缺的经历。话题贴近生活，学生对班级、课程、同学、老师、校服等充满兴趣，感到有话可说，能体会到校园生活的丰富多彩。
本课主题意义：本课主要是培养解决问题的能力和保护动物的意识。
本课主题意义探究：遇到问题如何解决？
二、分析学情
四年级的学生对校园生活这个话题展现出极大的热情，已经有了很多关于教室、学校、衣服等相关话题的知识储备，但他们对讨论班级、老师、课程和校服等依然充满好奇心和探索欲望。
经过两年的英语学习，学生有了一定的英语积淀，已经学习了相关文具、教室物品、学校场所和活动及衣服类单词和短语，掌握了一些简单的句型，在阅读方面，他们也初步掌握了一些基本的阅读策略。
在本单元的学习中，学生对一些特殊句型如like..best
like后加动词ing问答句等对于四年级孩子还需多操练和应用。在书信上学生对收信
人和写信人有所混淆。学生能写出描写校服的书信，但在语言综和运用方面有些欠缺。
三、确定教学目标
通过本单元的学习，学生能了解世界上的其他国家的课程、校服。培养创新意识和审美能力。通过校园生活文化的讨论，让学生体会校园生活的丰富多彩，感受校园生活的美好。
本课教学目标主要是理解并运用poor
poster Go away!He’s on a chain .He needs food,water and
love.等单词和句子；理解并表演故事；渗透情感教育，了解和学习校外生活。通过故事学习，使孩子们懂得我们应遇事主动寻求解决办法，并培养学生热爱生命、保护动物的观念。
四、以下是教学过程中的跨学科案例：
Teaching procedure:
激情导课
Make the pupils look at the pictures and tell
the teacher how the dog’s feelings are ( angry , happy , sad
, tired , hungry ).
Today we’ll learn a story about the dog .
Show the title —— The dog
I hope you’ll enjoy yourselves.
（案例分析：通过学生观察图片，让学生感受狗狗的处境以及狗狗的感受，初步感知故事主题，为接下来的教学做好铺垫。）

Task 1 Act out the story and retell the

Teach “chain”. Make children understand the sentence “He’s on
a chain.”
Make the pupils relaxed and read the chant and learn the
idioms of the time

Listen to the story and ask the pupils what you will do if
you’re Emma or Mike . Make the children to express their opinions ,
even if in Chinese. Then tell the pupils what Emma and Mike
do.

（案例分析：任务呈现环节，抛给学生一个思考题：下学后的课外生活中遇到问题我们该怎么样处理，如果遇到狗狗受虐待，我们该怎样帮助他们脱离困境，通过听音感知故事，带着问题听故事更能身临其境，深刻体会故事的深意。同时也能激发学生解决问题的能力。）

love. Make pupils read the sentence one by one .

their own words in groups

（案例分析：自主学习环节，学生通过小组合作朗读故事并表演故事，不仅能够让学生在学中玩、在演中学，同时也能培养学生的合作能力，激发积极性和主动性，培养自主学习的能力。充分体现了以学生为主体的指导思想。让学生积极参与，主动合作，乐于模仿，敢于开口。）
Communication
Ask some groups to act out the story and retell the
story.
（在展示环节，教师引入竞争机制，让学生在表演的过程中，互助互帮互学，特别是那些暂时落后的学生更可以通过组长带读和小组成员的帮助掌握正确的语音语调。也让他们再次思考遇到虐待狗狗的时候该如何处理问题，从而培养学生在校外生活中解决问题的能力。）
Show some pictures that the animals are treated cruel. Make
the pupils understand how to get along with animals and how to help
the animals .Make the pupils know love the animals and make friends
with animals.
